What We do

We specialize in 6 areas of practice

Campaign Strategy

Drill down. Dissect the voter data in your district, city, or county where you are running. Identify your people and understand what matters to them. Winning campaigns are more about the voters than they are about the candidate, so it is crucial to use every tool within your reach to understand who your voters are and what they want.

Once we know your audience, their wants and needs, we develop a message that matches your values and priorities to what’s relevant to your voters. Politics is about making distinctions on issues that matter to people, knowing your voters and what motivates them, and then getting them to vote.

Digital & Website

Once we have a relevant message, we are then ready to build the digital pillars of a campaign that cleanly integrate with each other.  People will discover you on social media which will invite them to a website which will ask for email and mobile numbers which will send regular updates throughout your campaign. Your digital tools should be clear, concise, consistent, coordinated with each other to implement a strategy that targets the right people.

Your digital campaign should repeatedly introduce yourself and invite your audience to climb an engagement ladder with you to build a better community. Your audience may identify their concerns by filling out a survey, then take a small online action to weigh in on a local issue, then attend a neighborhood gathering to meet the candidate, then make a small donation, then volunteer for the campaign, and then vote for you and convince others to do the same.

Fundraising

Once a professional, integrated digital foundation is in place with a clear message that explains your reason for running, it’s time to reach out for resources. Your campaign is a vision for a better future, and we will help you develop a message and plan to convince donors to invest in their community by investing in your vision to make their community better.

Like everything we do, our fundraising approach is targeted. Beyond the candidates own network of personal contacts, our effort centers around identifying potential supporters through high quality data activation. Instead of “spray and pray fundraising,” we make sure all fundraising efforts are targeted toward people who have a track-record of political giving. We use an “omni-channel approach” to ensure that your message is getting in front of the right potential donors in the communications channel they prefer. Our approach includes highly targeted social media, email, texting, direct mail and events.

Ground Game

You will quickly become a stronger candidate by knocking on doors and talking directly to voters. Your ground game strategy should start early and knock often. The first rule is to knock on the right doors, not every door. With the right data and mobile tools, we will help you map out where exactly to go – and not to go. We’ll help you set goals, recruit volunteers, set a schedule and develop talking points for meaningful and efficient conversations at the front door. Most importantly, door knocking is about listening and learning, asking questions, asking for feedback, and asking people to join. Personal conversations are the most valuable voter contact. So whether the candidate has an army of volunteers or is walking alone, the rule should be to door-knock early and often.

Mail

Direct mail is still one of the most targeted and effective ways to communicate to voters. The key is to deliver the right message to the right voters with content that is creative but credible – relevant and memorable. We’ll use the right data to determine the right universe of voters who should receive your mail. We’ll zero in on the local issues that are most important to those voters and aim to feature local voices in your community to bring life to those concerns. The goal is to deliver direct mail that makes a lasting, persuasive impression. If our direct mail is focused on local issues featuring local voices of real local people, your campaign will take big steps toward local results that win.

Media

With professional help, local campaigns absolutely can include television and video ads that make a lasting point and sometimes deliver a punch. From writing, shooting, and editing, we can help you produce video spots that will make an impression. It’s important that your 15 and 30 second video ads are playing in front of the right voters. That means it may be more valuable to place your video spots on targeted digital channels and streaming TV – not the 6pm news.
